Svojevrsni nastavak istoimene serije iz sedamdesetih godina. Rose Buck (Jean Marsh), pomaže novim stanarima kuće u ulici 165 Eaton Place, u Londonu, pri odabiru služinčadi i vođenju kućanstva. Novopridošlice su obitelj Holland, Sir Hallam Holland i Lady Agnes Holland, te Lady Maud Holland. Priča prati događanja u kasnim tridesetima, prošlog stoljeća i bavi se ne samo likovima u kući, već i tadašnjom problematikom britanskog fašizma i skorašnjih sukoba; židovskim izbjeglicama iz Njemačke i vjerno prikazuje koketiranje britanskih aristokrata s nacističkom Njemačkom. Zasad su snimljena samo tri nastavka.
